Factional Armor Sets

Okay, here's the look and stats. There are 2 equipped effects. The first is for having 3 pieces and it's a +3 to all stats, ie. vit, con, int, ect. The second equipped effect requires 6 pieces and it should be displayed in the tooltip in each screenshot.







As for obtaining, it cost me 18K faction per continent ((it didn't matter which city and there is only 1 set per continent)) and 200 plat coins per set. After getting 3 sets, I'm not so popular anymore...

I do like the look of them for the most part, but stats wise there is no way I would ever go for a full set. What weapon do you have equipped there, looks mighty neat. I might go for the Belt and headpiece but that is it. At first glance at least.

Like the look of the Kojani BP the best and the vit. fills a hole in the light armour loot tables, but obviously makes it a mix and match set with swamp and crafted.

Instead of 3 sets that are stat wise similar (identical?) it would be a lot more useful to have a light healer set (which is really lacking), a mixed set (like the current faction), and a "sorcerer" set (INT, WIS, SDR, crit, etc. similar to Gorgalok). We wouldn't have to mix and match. The same is true for most classes. I would love to have a healer set for my Pally for example. With a Psi pumping energy he can almost main heal, forgoing tanking, but he needs much more VIT and HF from gear.

Also, yes, the stats are identical for each set. The only difference at all between them is what factions you're willing to burn and the appearance.

Personally, I wouldn't trade them in for my higher sdr swamp/RI gear. However, it is tempting to grab them for that vit for those occasions when I'm direct healing rather than tapping. I'd rather tap and I'm allocated for tapping but in my experience I've found a few fights where I'm standing 25 away throwing direct heals. For those fights, the vit here would be nice.

Thanks for taking the time to post this up, Mamasama. I am sorely disappointed that the devs ignored (IMO) the larger population of tap BMGs in favor of the direct heal build.

I know they can't/won't put out 2+ sets for every class but it seems like all the high-end BMG stuff is +vit.
